This year, the local Flathead-Kootenai Chapter of Wild Montana will host several trail ambassadors events at the Camp Misery trailhead in the Jewel Basin. Trail ambassadors are public lands advocates who educate trail users on Wilderness values and responsible recreation. In partnership with the U.S. Forest Service, we work to ensure hikers are prepared for the day ahead and educate trail users on best practices. This is an all-ability levels volunteer opportunity.
